Methods and privacy
People: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which excludes bots and uses no cookies. Copied once a day (about 8 AM ET) as daily totals for the previous day. Visits = sessions; page views = pages loaded.
AI crawlers: counted live on our servers by matching known AI user-agent names (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, OAI-SearchBot and others). Search engines (Googlebot, Bingbot) are counted separately. User-agents can be faked, so treat these as indications.
Providers and groups: each bot is mapped to its company and to training, search or user-triggered in one shared list (same list as our counters). Unknown bots count as Other.
AI referrals: visits whose referrer is an AI assistant site (chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai, gemini.google.com, copilot.microsoft.com, claude.ai and similar). Excluded: 2026-10-20 AI-referral test clicks made while setting up tracking.
Privacy: only daily totals are stored or shown. No IP addresses, user-agent strings, locations, cookies or personal data. Numbers under 3 for referral sources and pages are hidden or grouped so no single visitor can be picked out.
